Look at what happened to Midlothian,Texas. Look and see what is coming to our area.

The city of Dorchester:
City of Dorchester
373 Main Street
Dorchester, TX 75459
NOTES & CONCEPTS: 3/25/2024 TCEQ PUBLIC MEETING
It was a unified crowd often asking the same questions with few answers given.
To me the only concept that makes sense is the ulterior motives theories.
Somebody at the meeting asked: “Why Dorchester?” The city only has about seventy people. The mayor manages the local grain elevator. The city council is comprised of local working people, senior citizens and small business owners. The city leaders may not understand the full potential value of their land. Their land is raw farmland that will become the next “Silicon Valley.” Is this a land grab? Or, are the financiers trying to extort or hold Texas Instruments hostage for some reason?
The suppositions of their actions are endless. They are financiers. The question is how are they going to profit from Texas Instruments, the city of Sherman, the city of Dorchester and all the people who live in the area? Are they receiving their financing from China?
Is this whole cement kiln factory a land fraud scheme? The one guy at the “High Roller” table smirked when I asked, “how can you get away with putting a cement kiln in the middle of the migratory bird winter nesting grounds?” TCEQ seemed to be covering for the cement people. May-be I’m just too skeptical. But something was not right at the meeting. The meeting seemed more perfunctory than productive.
It seems that “High Rollers” is a financier company whose claim to fame is in supplying fracking sand to the energy industry. There is a big difference between digging for sand and building a cement kiln. They admittedly said that they had never built or operated a cement kiln plant. So why are newbies building a super-sized cement kiln and strip blasting mine right next to Texas Instrument’s new thirty-billion-dollar semiconductor chip plant?
A section of land is six hundred and forty acres. That is a one mile by one mile square. How can they do that whole operation in that limited amount of land? The participants of the public meeting asked some good questions. Aren’t most strip mines thousands of acres? Aren’t most strip mines located in desolate places, and not in the middle of several towns with thousands of acres of homes being built? How much of those six hundred and sixty acres of land are going to be taken up with facilities? So, if there is not enough room to house the facility and strip mine, then why put it there? So, once they get their foot in the door then will they have to acquire more land? How do they acquire more land? Do they condemn property? Do they take property by eminent domain? How do they get more land?
Another wild thought comes to mind. Since the High Roller company is a financier company, are they going to acquire the necessary permits, provide the construction, then turn the whole operation over to some other unscrupulous company?
Here is another insane question. If they put the blasting operation into effect so as to force Texas Instruments to suspend chip manufacturing, then who stands to financially gain from Texas Instruments not being able to produce chips? Would that be China? I guess that is just another wild crazy insane thing to look into the motives on why someone would put a blasting strip mine in Dorchester, Texas. (The blasting zone is about five miles from Texas Instrument’s 30-billion-dollar chip plant. It is also only about two to three miles from the under ground forty-eight inch high pressure natural gas transmission line feeding the electric power generating plant near T.I. ) I believe it was an engineer from GlobiTech that discussed the sensitivity of growing silicon and that the blasting would shut down their operations.
(If we had an honest government, maybe somebody would look into those motives. Has anybody asked Trump for his opinion on why somebody would put a blasting strip mine next door to Texas Instrument’s 30-billion-dollar chip manufacturing plant?)
If it does not make sense on why they are doing it, then why are they doing it? It only took a few minutes to find an article on the global importance of the semiconductor business in Sherman, Texas. There are many more articles on the web describing Sherman, Texas, potential world importance to the semiconductor global business.
Who would not be happy with a new major world supplier of American made semiconductor chips? How happy would Xi Jinping and the Communist Chinese Party be if America was self-sufficient in their own production of semiconductor chips?
If this was only about acquiring land, the High Roller people would have just bought land. The only thing that makes sense is that the kiln and blasting is to sabotage Texas Instrument’s plant. As Drew Springer (Texas State Senator, SD30) suggested that if the goal was to make cement there are better places to do it. As the engineer from GlobiTech stated that the blasting would shut down their operation. So is there any another reason? There is only one reason that makes sense- the location and proximity to Texas Instruments and the other North Texas silicon semiconductor prospective infrastructure. Is this sabotage? Is it subterfuge? Is it treason? Is it China?
So why are the “High Roller” people wanting to put a blasting strip mine and potentially toxic cement kiln about five miles from Texas Instruments premier semiconductor chip manufacturing plant? The only reason seems to be to sabotage T.I.’s chip production.
It would seem prudent for the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, to open a criminal investigation into everything in regards to the blasting strip mine and potential toxic kiln being built in Dorchester, Texas. I would hope that our State Senator Drew Springer would encourage his colleagues and Governor Greg Abbott to do the same. I would also call on the feckless Speaker of the House Mike Johnson to open Congressional investigations into the corruption of TCEQ in allowing this farce to proceed.
The people of this area stood up and said that they do not want this strip mine and cement kiln.
Every homeowner, in our district, should contact the TCEQ and demand that we don’t want toxic businesses in our communities.
